About the Author
Ray A. Snyder is a native of Charleston, SC. He graduated from The Baptist College at Charleston at the age of 20 and was commissioned as one of the youngest officers in the United States Air Force. Later learning the business of training and development with Milliken and Company and the South Carolina State Ports Authority, he served as a Senior Consulting Partner with The Ken Blanchard Companies for more than a decade, earning his MBA from Charleston Southern University along the way. His work with hundreds of the largest and most influential companies and government agencies in the eight nations has made a difference in not only those organizations, but in the lives of tens of thousands of parents and children who have heard his message. Ray has served with his family in Romania, working with volunteer missionaries to build an orphanage and mission center for homeless and hopeless Romanian children. His hundreds of stories teaching life lessons and values translate perfectly in the language of a hungry and abused child. At 48 years old, he exercised his "Halftime," cutting his travel schedule of 120 days a year by 80%. His NEW career fulfills his passion to help people "Win the Game" by teaching them to create happiness, success, and wealth with Biblical integrity. Married since 1975, Ray and Kathy have raised two daughters, Megan and Mary Ann. Their extended family now includes Paul, Megan's husband, a half-dozen friends of Mary Ann from the College of Charleston, and Rufus, an adorable Berkeley (a little of all the dogs in Berkeley County) adopted from the pound in 2003.
