About the Author
Hugh Ambrose currently serves as Historical Consultant for an untitled miniseries about WWII being developed by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and HBO. He is both a Founding Board Member and a former Vice President of The National D-Day Museum in New Orleans where he lives.
James Miller earned his Ph.D. in history from Indiana University. After teaching at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, in 1985 he began a ten-year career as an editor in economics and history. He has a writing, editing, and consulting business in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he lives with his family He is currently writing a full-scale biography of a major figure in American history.
John Thompson is the author of six National Geographic books, including America's Historic Trails, and Wildlands of the Upper South. He has written numerous articles on travel and natural history and is currently researching a book on Benedict Arnold's march to Quebec. His travel writing has taken him to all states but Wisconsin and Texas. He lives with his family in Charlottesville, Virginia.
