About the Author
Mark W. Delancey is professor of International Studies, University of South Carolina. He has traveled extensively in Africa including extended periods of research and teaching in Nigeria, Cameroon, and South Africa. Dr. DeLancey has published several books on Africa including Cameroon: From Dependence to Independence and The Historical Dictionary of Cameroon, 2nd Edition which he co-authored. Terry M. Mays is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Citadel. He has traveled to Nigeria where he conducted research on multinational peacekeeping operations fielded by African international organizations.
