About the Author
Julian Thompson is a leading military historian, a Visiting Professor to the Department of War Studies at King's College London, and a distinguished veteran of the Falklands War. He has written several successful books including No Picnic: 3 Commando Brigade in the South Atlantic, The Imperial War Museum Book of the War in Burma 1942-1945, The Royal Marines, and The Imperial War Museum Book of War behind Enemy Lines. He lives in London, England.
