About the Author
Robert J. Trout is a former vice president of the Stuart-Mosby historical society and past editor of "Southern Cavalry Review." A dedicated student of the Civil War, he has a particular interest in J. E. B. Stuart and his cavalry. He has written two previous books: "They Followed the Plume" (0811717607) and "With Pen and Saber" (0811719308). He lives in Myerstown, Pennsylvania.
