Book Description
Four basic principles of evolution theory taught to nearly everyone in school and held by most of the scientific community are: (1) the Big Bang, (2) the formation of the stars and planets from the material released by the Big Bang, (3) the spontaneous generation of life on Earth, and (4) the evolution of all species from the first life. These principles are taught as proven fact and any attempt to criticize them often leads to suspicion or ridicule.

These four principles stand in stark contrast to four events initiated by God as revealed in the Bible: (1) the creation of the universe in six days, (2) the destruction of the world by a global flood, (3) the mixing up of language at the Tower of Babel, and (4) the Incarnation of Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary. If one set of the four is literally true, the other is necessarily not.

The scientific, theological, and scriptural arguments against a godless Theory of Evolution and for the traditional Catholic perspective on the first chapters of Genesis are presented, together with the keys to world peace, in an easy-to-understand format.

About the Author
Eric Bermingham is a Catholic Creationist and an aerospace engineer. He has been investigating the scientific, theological, and scriptural evidence for the traditional Catholic teaching of a literal Creation and Flood for several years. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation, a Catholic group of professionals/scientists dedicated to defending Genesis from a traditional Catholic perspective. A short article of his appears on their Internet site (www.kolbecenter.org) entitled "The Search for Noah's Ark" that describes the legends of the Ark and the modern-day search for it.
